This 2/2 cabin was a great getaway for us. Loved that it was decorated for Christmas. The welcome basket and apple pie were a very nice touch. Loved how it was decorated. The upstairs electric heater was very nice. Bring plenty of firewood for the indoor fireplace to keep yourself warm and cozy.

This cabin looks like any other cabin from the outside, but once inside you will find a cabin that has been carefully appointed with high quality furniture and accessories. We have stayed at this cabin three times and have enjoyed our stay each time. It is not just the furniture and accessories that are top notch, but also the bedding and towels. We will continue to stay at this cabin as long as we make trips to northern Georgia.

My husband passed suddenly and unexpectedly. We had more people coming to town for the funeral than I had room for in my home. We also wanted to have them very close by. I knew there was a short term cabin rental on my road. A neighbor got me the contact information and it was available for the days we needed so we booked it. Being so distraught and having never booked a rental before, I was having difficulty with the agreement and how to submit it. The agent talked me through it, even explaining and filling some of it out for me. He followed up with several emails and phone calls, once just to check on me. He made sure the visit went smoothly for me and my family. This home had everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. They even enjoyed the abundance of deer who visited the yard. I will definitely book this home for family and friends visiting from RI in the future.

We live in Atlanta and wanted to do something different for Christmas so we decided to visit the mountains. We all had a wonderful time . The wood burning fireplace was lovely. In the afternoon we enjoyed a nice soak in the hot tub. All in all it was a fantastic family trip!!

Our stay was perfection! The cabin was clean, comfortable & perfectly furnished along with many extras that we didn't anticipate!! It was a pleasant surprise!! Surprises such as bowl of treats on kitchen counter, bath salts on spa tub, extra linen, huge walk in closets!! It was pleasantly comfortable. The decor was splendid and very comfortable. We loved the upstairs bedroom and spent most of our time there!! It had comfortably seating, tv, rocking chair adjacent to the master bedroom. The master bedroom and bathroom were huge!! Perfect!! Beds were comfortably! TV worked great! Kitchen was fully equipped with stove, dishwasher, full size refrigerator (which was filled with ice!!), a good variety of pots and pans, basic plates and cutlery, glassware. All you had to supply was your food and you were ready to go!! We loved the screened in porch!! Also the wrap around porch on the house!! I would say it is missing a swing!! Otherwise, It is a fabulous place to rest, enjoy, and regain your peace of mind like we did!!

We definitely enjoyed our stay. Cabin had everything we needed and more! The location is excellent especially if you’re visiting Helen or and of the other surrounding places. The cabin doesn’t have a Mountain View per say but a nice tree view in the backyard. Also had a kennel in the backyard for your dog if needed. The upstairs living room was fantastic as a getaway for my kids!!!

We enjoyed our time here in the North Georgia Mountains. Cabin was spotless. We had everything we needed and stuff we didn’t even think about was stocked at this cabin. This cabin is in the middle of the Blue Ridge area and Blairsville. We took the ride on the scenic railway. We loved that we could take our dog with us. Overall a nice trip. Just a little fyi the 17 year cicadas are out in force, you will hear them from the crack of dawn until sunset and the noise is at times unbearable. However it didn’t impact our stay, you can’t hear them inside the cabin.

This is a perfect getaway. The cabin is just the right size , clean and with everything one needs for a week stay. Extra pillows , extra blankets , throws on the sofas , very Well equipped kitchen including a spice rack , good quality propane grill ( compared to our previous stays at other rentals) , great water pressure in showers , hot tub , game room ( but we did not have time to use ) . Anna was very hospitable - we were missing a water kettle and she just asked us to purchase one at Walmart and promptly refunded the purchase. If there is one thing I can suggest would be to upgrade the size of the TV to large screen in the loft - after a long day we spent an hour each night watching TV. This was our first visit to Blue ridge area and the location of the cabin seemed ideal - oh and our dogs too had a great time - we took them everywhere we went. Every business is so pet friendly - we loved that.

Stayed 4 nights at this property. The location is good and the check-in process with the code on the door is great. The house was more than large enough for a family of 3. The kitchen was adequately equipped. We slept downstairs and the mattress was not comfortable and should probably be replaced. No comments on the fireplace or hot tub as we did not use either. I would stay here again !

This house is gorgeous! However, it is not well lit and the beds were not very comfortable. The linens also smelled like they had been sprayed with stale perfume instead of washed. It is very small. It would have been better if the beds were Kings instead of fulls. Overall, it was an enjoyable get away for a weekend.

The property was so clean and exceeded my expectations. Where it fell short was the living room/kitchen. This was the place we spent most of the time but yet had no TV. The upstairs loft had a small TV that we never used. They did have tv’s in both bedrooms but for two couples you want to be in the living room off the kitchen for TV.

The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful and clean! It was well supplied and so comfortable for my boyfriend, myself and our dog. We cooked every day and never felt like we missed anything that would be in our own kitchen. We watched movies, Grilled, made a fire by the fire pit and enjoyed the screened in porch And listening to the nature. As for location, we explored from Blue Ridge to Suches to Hiawassee and everything in between. I would without a doubt recommend this cabin to anyone.

We (me, my girlfriend, and our dog) had a great time in the Blue Ridge area. This house was the perfect spot. Secluded, but not too far from stores (about 15 minute drive). We cooked a lot in the well-sized kitchen and also put the grill to great use. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. And, the loft upstairs was the right spot to read a book or watch some DVDs. A nice weekend cabin rental. It had all the amenities needed to have a relaxing weekend with your love one. It was a little hard to find at first, only due to arriving at night, other than that we found it okay. Mostly paved roads to get to the cabin. The cabin was nice and clean upon our arrival. What a lovely rental. It was just as described and such a treat. It was convenient to Blairsville and Blue Ridge with its central location. It is very well appointed with everything you could need for a home away from home experience with extras and the furniture was very comfortable from the outdoors to the beds..
It is very well maintained and in a friendly but private community and is very easy to get to nestled among the mountains and tall trees.
Lots of outdoor and indoor space.
I would definitely rent this place again.

My husband and I celebrated my 60th birthday in North Ga. and this cabin was definitely the perfect choice to stay. We enjoyed being tucked away in nature while also having convenient access to anything we needed nearby, just minutes away. Entry roads were paved and easy to navigate. Upon arrival we were greeted with a generous gift basket from the rental company; just one way that they go above and beyond. The cabin itself was above average in quality, furnishings, and beauty. It was extremely cozy and comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen, in every detail. One of our favorite spots was the big screened in back porch where we enjoyed the crisp mountain air and scenery. We have stayed in many cabins over the past few years, but we finally found the one that beats them all. This was a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

This cozy 2/2 cabin is right between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. The welcome gift basket and apple pie was a very nice touch. Hot tub was great. Bring extra firewood for indoor fireplace. Concierge service was very nice to have in case of emergencies. Loved the it was decorated for Christmas!

We had a great time at this cabin! Our dog got out through a very large hole in the screened porch. I was called and was told "5 people had called screaming about our dog." This is probably not a great place to bring your dog. I don't think it's a very pet-friendly community. Other than that, we had a terrific time.

Where to begin? From the outside, the walkway was Avery creative and neatly built!!Loved the entryway! The whole cabin had charm, elegance, with a style that was very tastefully done! It was very pleasant! Loved the layout of the home.The lower level has 2 bedrooms, laundry room, kitchen, dining room, - again were well furnished with lots of extras! Like warm toasty blankets, comfortable chairs & couches that begged for naps, a candy dish filled with treats on the kitchen counter,freezer filled with ice!! It was the personal, human touch touch that gets to me!The upper level had the master bedroom. You walked up the stairs into a sitting room. The master bedroom was very spacious included a fireplace and bathroom. This bathroom had a spa tub and shower with an adjacent closet that was big enough to make a fourth bedroom!! I am kidding but it was it very nice! The house was very clean! The host was the sweetest lady I have ever spoken to in long time! It was just my husband and I for a week vacation which was desperately needed due to losing our dog. This cabin was a sanctuary for us. It help to restore and refresh our peace of mind. We loved it so much we plan on returning again!!

The cabin was clean and we had all essentials. The hot tub had too much choline and made me and the kids coughing and the unit seemed old. Location was nice as it was in between Blairsville and Blue Ridge. I wish the contract agreement we had to sign could have been an online process rather than faxing. I stayed at Wilderness Retreat for a month in September. I was immediately impressed by how clean the home, definitely the cleanest rental I have ever stayed at. Parking was directly in front of the door making unloading super easy. The cabin was close and a easy drive to Blairsville which is where I did most of my shopping. I would definitely book this cabin again.

Overall, we had a great weekend! We did have some issues with hot tub jets not consistently working for us, and the beds were a little smaller than we were expecting. But we still loved the cabin!

Really nicely furnished cabin for 2 couples. Very clean on the inside, kitchen well stocked. No view, but a good location.

Be sure to use your GPS to get there as the directions supplied by the management company were not very accurate.
Outdoor area around the hot tub was filthy dirty with spiders and bird poop everywhere. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Lastly, there is NO King size bed in the cabin as was advertised. Other reviews commented on the existing Queen size beds. Everyone has there own likes/dislikes. We almost left a day early because we found the beds very uncomfortable to us.

We loved the location and the owners are very nice. The furnishings are dated and a bit worn. New pillows and shower heads would go a long way in upgrading the experience. Looked like mold in upstairs bathroom. But great location for lots of outdoor adventures.

One of the first get a ways that we honestly didn't want to leave and come home, so much fun, very clean and had everything stocked for a few days stay, I mean everything. I had to call a couple of times because I couldn't figure something out and the manager answered the phone and helped me both times quickly and efficiently. Truly a place you should consider. One thing before I forget, if you are using an out of date GPS you might have an issue getting there, but if you have a smartphone with any kind of GPS location you'll be fine, you won't need directions.

Great, cabin was a bit large for just two people as we did not use the upstairs as we can not climb stairs, so that was a waste. Fireplace left a lot to be desired, did not work properly, thus I could not enjoy the winter cold with a roaring fire, what a disappointment that was. Also was told no steps, was for a handicap person, but there were several, but we made do with it, (6 steps in all). But was a well equipped and lovely cabin.

This is the best place I have ever stayed. The management was very nice in welcoming us there and the cabin was so very clean. They even had a Christmas tree that made the cabin just like home. It has all the tools need to cook and enjoy the stay. The view was just amazing and the wildlife in the area was a very nice stress relief. Getting to the store took only 12 mins but the cabin was in a very quite area. I will be booking it again!!

The house was in an excellent, clean condition. The setting was beautiful, in the forest, with autumn in bloom, and the leaves changing. The house was a few miles from Blairsville and centrally located in north-central Georgia, with short drives to other hiking and waterfall sites. Wonderful local restaurants with southern cooking are plentiful. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway in the beautiful Georgia mountains.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Cabin was clean, well equipped, nicely furnished and nicely appointed with linen and kitchen utensils. Our biggest complaint was comfort of bed mattresses. May be time to replace. Hot tub chemicals were so highly concentrated when I got in the tub all I could do was cough and sneeze. The tv in the loft was small and could not figure out how to watch regular tv so we watched movies. These was a minor issues however.compared to comfort of mattress. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

My boyfriend, myself and our dog absolutely loved the cabin. It was beautifully decorated and had absolutely everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. We cooked at the cabin every night, made a bonfire at night and just relaxed and took in the sights and sounds. It was centrally located as well so we were able to see a lot of the area! A truly wonderful trip.

This cabins was great! Perfect for 2 people, would also be great for 4! It was clean, I mean the towels and sheets were white and fresh, there was no dust on anything, the fans, floors, tables, etc. A light was left on for us as we arrived after dark. The Christmas tree was up and lit! Very thoughtful! In a perfect location. It was quiet and pretty close to Blue Ridge. We felt safe and the view for spring and fall should be amazing. The owners were caring and very responsive. This was one of the best cabins I've ever stayed in and will definitely come and stay again! HIGHLY recommended!

We did not have any problems during the entire process of renting online. The info provided on the location was spot on. We enjoyed a meal at two of the restaurants in Blairsville (The Hole in the Wall, and Lil' Italian Cafe). The restaurants were nice and the food delicious. We went horseback riding, walked some trails, visited a couple of waterfalls, visited a winery and went to Bald Mountain Observatory. The area is bit cooler because of the elevation, but the scenery is nice. Have fun...
